Brett has a PhD in ceramics from the University of Sydney, having undertaken research to incorporate industrial and agricultural by-products into lower firing clay and glazes.  The work is wheel-thrown, hand-built and slip cast. Soda and wood fired, porcelain and stoneware, reduced and oxidised, cone 10, 9, 8, 6,5, 1 and lower.
